It's like having a Jagermech strapped to your left arm, except you aren't a side torso disaster waiting to happen like the JM6. It moves faster, has more armor and can take a beating.

Never use the 4 med unless its dire or a kill shot. works very well.

its LL + 3ac2 thats enough to fry a steak. MLs are only for brawl.

I prefer the 1xAC5 2xAC2 4xML build myself. You can even fit a 380XL from your 9M and go 80kph with that loadout. Freaking insane.

Yeah, the key to using the 1D (and the 1G) is to not use the MLs. Instead, use the ballistics and whatever energy weapon you have on the other arm as your primary weapons. Only use the MLs for sure finishing shots or as a last resort. In fact, I don't even run MLs at all on my 1G.

I was originally in love with he BLR1S as an SRM6 boat, but have since gone crazy with the BLR-1D two ac/2 and a ultra a/c5 all firing together continually no overheat problems not even close. Dropped to 3 med lasers to add more ammo. My KDR on it is above 3. Easily killing ppc snippers from far distances or other ac builds. Never seen soo many assault classes back down from a fight than with this build. I also barley use the ML on it only for kill shots or when I run out of ammo. Easily putting up 500-1k dmg a match. I won my Mercenary groups Kill/Dmg tournament primarily due to this build. Needless to say awesome Mech easily the best BattleMaster
