Hello,

I've been using the Mech builder at http://mechromancer.wordoflowtax.com/ quite a lot and liked it much more than the one at smurfy.
The problem with it is, that the site is completely gone for some days now. Does anyone know why, or if the site is going to be online again at some point?

No idea, but the most likely cause is the owner stopped paying for the website to be hosted.

Honestly, there are so many different mech building sites that I only use the popular ones. The Smurfy site is still the best one for MWO as it has the stats from the video game and not just the board game rules.

The builder at smurfy is very nearly hurting my eyes. Difficult to "read" a loadout quickly with a short glance compared to the previous one I mentioned. But that maybe just personal preference.

Sometimes I wish MWO UI was smurfy, or the ability to import builds to MWO from it..

1) Who are you and what are you doing inside my faculty?
2) Maybe someone of wordoflowtax knows something about this?

I wouldn't be surprised if they deemed it pointless to continue the site since everyone seems to be using and talking about smurfy. I prefered the mechromancer design, too.

1) I could hand out a Discworld reference here from all the 3 dozen books I read during the last few years... but a special one doesn't come to mind.

2) Even the "main" server at wordoflowtax isn't reachable. So it might be gone for good.

contact the forum spokesman anders for an answer if he'll allow your entertainment electrons to do so.

it's not quiet fair of me to say this but i think they were portraying themselves as a goonish faction when they were firm contributers here. the last few months of controversys have driven many troll like clans away from the game. so i'm not surprised they've taken their mech lab ball home with them.
