Hi,
Just an idea for modules to help reduce the grind and increase PGI revenue without being "Pay2Win".
15% CBILL boost module
5% XP boost module
5% LP boost module
Charge MC and allow a maximum of one (or one of each) on a mech. Large enough to be useful but not so large as to make mechs with inherent bonus obsolete. (I just chose 1/2 of the base mech bonus as a suggested value).

If you had an MC version of a Cbill bonus Module there would be very little incentive to buy Hero mechs unless they had obscenely better hard points. Which kinda is leaning towards Pay to Win.

That would make premium time obsolete.

Actually, I think it's a good idea.
It all depends on pricing.
As a player of course it can only benefit me.
As a game designer, it's just balance.
Example: Maybe I love my cataphract 3D.
A hero cataphract without jump jets won't appeal to me.
I don't like premium time because it's not permanent.
Now: I can get a 15% cbill module for some random price?
That's tempting.
In that specific scenario, it's an item I would buy when I wouldn't buy the alternatives.
Also:
You can use it WITH hero mechs.
AND With premium Time.
AT least in theory. So it doesn't obsolete either. It's one more thing you could get.
Hero mechs don't obsolete premium, afterall.
In which case. Yeah. Tempting!
Personally, I think it's a great example of something I"d pay for that isn't pay to win.
The problem is they'd only sell one SET of modules per player.
So they'd probably be better off selling a way to hero-ize your mech.
That said, this is a great balance trade off.
IF they set the price low - say 300 MC< you might see people buy multiple.
Set it higher, say, 2000 MC.
People will still buy them. Selling just 1 to 1/10 players is a lot of income (even 1/100). AT that point.
So, I think it's a good suggestion.
