I rarely get depressed over the lack of value when something is given to me for free... The Hot Rod camo pattern is a free gift that can be applied to the PP Mechs we bought, so there's no reason to be depressed. Did you expect the patent to be free for the PrPh Mechs that you *didn't* purchase? I really wouldn't have that expectation.

It is true that you get what you pay for is what it is. On the other hand, a freebie that extends further than the initial target adds lots of value, even if it doesn't translate into immediate gain/sales.

The great tragedy of this sale is that it wasn't centered entirely around 'mechs that can "zombie" - i.e. continue to fight with both side torsos blown off, like the Centurion.

They could have even made the trials all standard engine zombies to sell the idea. It'd been entertaining, at least.
