Yes, it is well known that some ****** at the dealership apparently likes to rip the Blaupunkts out of Blackjacks.
Unfortunately, since you signed for the delivery as "all is fine" (otherwise you wouldn`t have a BJ), you have no recourse.
We can only hope that enough complaints to the manufacturer will eventually get this ********* fired, as the dealer continually refuses to comment on or address the issue.
PS: I`ve actually gotten used to it, to the point of actually liking it, and simply complain about it on TS when we drop. ")=(/&&%(/( ************* stole my ******* radio, AGAIN!"

I'm sure it's those shifty drop ship captains that do it.

^^ ROFL, It does kind of look like a smart phone bay, now that you mention it.
Probably something in the manual that says "Insert Samsung Universe AS-7 here for twice the targeting power", but I dunno, I never got one with my BJ....

Isn't that just the cable you use to charge the batteries of friendly Locusts before battle?

No. That connection is at the lower anterior position of the center torso, approximately 1 - 1 1/2 meters from the lowest point. (Location varies depending on mech type.)
