BAP benefits LRM's indirectly. It increases sensorbrange by 25%, extending it from 800m to 1000m (LRM max range). In addition, it prevents a nearby ecm mech from shutting down your missile locks.

This is more important than most realize. Sure, you won't be able to hit the ecm mech with your LRM's but you won't be useless just because he's nearby.

Also keep in mind that Artemis only effects targets that you have line of sight too.

As a side note it is often useful to carry a tag on LRM mech's, unless you are running with a group and someone else will be tagging for you.

I think you only get 1000m from BAP + Sensor Range module. Could be wrong.

The larger benefit is - as Wintersdark said - a lone ECM mech getting near you won't block you from targeting / locking on. An indirect but very very useful benefit for LRM's.

BAP and the Sensor Range module give you a total of 1200 meters of sensor range. Base range is 800 and BAP and the module each give you a 25% bonus.
