Until I the issue with dark blue team chat text is resolved, I'd like the option to turn all chat off. Without team chat the rest is simply a visual distraction.

I almost hate to agree. But Chat should be optional.

However the game does Run VERY dependently on teamwork. Chat, while slow and cumbersome, can be the winning tool for many a pug match.

It can also be it's downfall, with all the banter, Insults, and Comments being thrown every-which-way.

But if one has kids, I really think the Text Chat should have the option to disable it.

I also think PGI should have come up with a better in game Voice Chat then C3 or whatever it is. But that's a long ago Healed wound.

I think a block list would be better so that you can just mute and/or block douchebags

Trying to send msg's via chat gets me killed. We need hot keys if nothing else. I'm too lazy to setup macro's.

Not to mention some just aren't knowledgeable enough to know how to do that

I would like some way to disable certain players. I hate having my chat window filled with some rambling *****. Even when you politely ask them to be quite they just keep up the stead stream of {Scrap} that clogs up any other relevant chat.

Yes! 90% of the comments are useless 'banter'. Not interested in what teenagers have to say about their genitals etc.

That would require a change to be made to the game that didn't cater to the casual solo players that play on weekends though so yea
