Can Keys Be Made To Toggle?

Is there a way to get windows to recognize tapping a key as holding it, and tapping it again as releasing the hold?

I mainly need this for my W and T keys (arm lock and jump jets).

you can disable throttle decay and arm lock [unless you just want to unlock for like 5-10 seconds at a time, in which case. . . just disable them >.> ]

There may be a way to mod a script to do that with jump jets [someone did it with TAG] but bear in mind you need to save some of that thrust for the descent. Without it, it's leg clobbering time.

Unless you're in my sights, of course, then feel free to destroy your legs :)

My app "Fire Control" (see sig) does this for arm lock, plus it has an option for weapon toggle also (ie TAG).
I could add support for holding another button too with a few characters, all I would need to do would be to add "T" to the list of options for the weapon toggle - at the moment it only supports the 1-6 keys

Uploaded a new version of Fire Control with the changes you require.

To use for jump jets in your setup:

In MWO:
Unbind T from JumpJets.
Bind 0 (zero) to JumpJets.

In Fire Control:
On the Main tab:
Set Weapon Toggle Group to 0

On the Bindings tab:
Tick Program Mode.
Make sure "Limit Application" is ticked.
In the "Weapon Toggle" row, in the "Keyboard" column, type T
Untick Program Mode.

If you also wish to run a weapon toggle, you can run multiple copies of Fire Control, so set one copy to a profile that handles your jump jet toggle, and the other copy to a profile that handles your weapon toggle.
