You can change the Hero 'Mech colors (up to the three main ones, but some only have two colors), but not the paint pattern. You could monochrome out all the paint sections to the same color on this 'mech and you will be left with the eyes, the nose, and some bits of dark olive green on the legs
You can't change the pattern on hero mechs? o.O
Aight, this mech is a no go for me then. Fugly AND seemingly unintresting hardpoint layout.
Sad since I was hoping for something fun. I only run chicken walkers (Mech looking mechs, and not humanoid looking mechs), and 99% of the time Catapults. Guess I'll be patient and save my money for a Marauder or Timberwolf IF/when we ever get those.

6 Heavy Heroes (Fang, Flame, Jester, Firebrand, Ilya, Protector) out of 7 available chassis,
5 Assault Heroes (Pretty Baby, Dragon Slayer, Misery, Heavy Metal, Boar's Head) out of 6,
3 Medium Heroes (X-5, Yen-Lo Wang, Golden Boy) out of 7,
and
1 Light Hero (Death's Knell) out of 5.
Any one else thinking a light (or even a medium) hero is way, way overdue?
You know why it's like that

I am a Catapult fan, but this mech isn't going to make me rush out and spend my money right away. I will probably get it eventually though...maybe.
As for the paint job, repaint it *shrug*.

Ya, the Li would be pretty cool. Victors are just great in general though.
With the hunchback I just dont know what can be done for the hero. The only "unique" variant that I see on Sarna is the 4N with ballistics and missiles. Basically a shadowhawk in the shape of a hunchback...

It won't even need the JJs if you can make it superfast...
those where times in CB, Fastapults everywhere hunting down swaybacks...

Well, ECM would fit the style, and jump jets are always a great bonus. Can't ask for much more...
I don't know that might be coming close to the P2W line (I'd probably buy it then though). There is only 1 other heavy/medium (cicada is basically a light) with ECM.
IMO we should have at least half a dozen more ECM mechs. Give it to the ones that have bad hardpoints or hitboxes or smt. Awesome (8q), Catapult (k2 or c4), Dragon (any really, prob not 1c), Trebuchet (7k) etc.

more to the point, with ECM, I would say it a safe bet that the ONLY time you will possibly see ECM on a Hero is if there is an existing Cbill version with ECM. And even then, they would have to nerf a lot of other facets to avoid it becoming a P2W rage issue. (Well, the forumtards rage P2W over every Hero, and usually half the other things, but I'm talking about a potentially legit argument)

twin AMS
6E
ECM
JJ
old school torso swivel
2(3) Module slots... how did the K2 lose one anyway?

When they first did a balance pass for modules the K2 was the only mech that could run dual AC/20 or Gauss so this was the nerf it got. On the flip side the AS7-D-DC had two fewer lasers and that useless ECM thing so it got an extra one.
