I have a dream, it is a dream of dreadfullness, hardship and curse words...

!!!THE HARDCORE MODE!!!

No Hud except for the middle portion of the screen where you can target.

Your mech's status? Ammo left? Ennemy info? Radar? All on the conviniently placed screens inside the mech's cockpit. Imagine having to actually ctrl-look inside the cockpit to see some info!

Eject button, because if you die with your mech, you'd loose Exp.

Rearm and Repair costs would be back (except for trial mechs).

To avoid unfair advantages, Hardcore mode could be completely independant from normal mode : the mechs you own, the exp grind, all except colors and cammo patterns and hero / champion mechs. (I know that part needs some working out but asking someone to buy a hero mech twice is not really an option).



Imagine the glory, the challenge, the pure MWO goodness it would bring!
