Slap both of the heat sinks into the torso for crit soaking.

BTW here is another 9SE build i will try when i can. Opinions on the ER Lrg Lasers? should i have them on it?
I'll give an update when i have tried it.
Update: Works great, especially in groups.
Keep the pulses in chain fire, and the larges in chain in hot maps.
the SRMs stay in the same group.
runs a bit warm, but if your careful, it'll work great for you.

Edit 28/04/14: Screw it, here is a better one.

1) Don't run an XL. It's tempting, but I find the damage spread put me at being cored only 70-80% of the time, less so if I do more twisting (2 of the models don't have any weapons in the left arm).

3) Stick at least a 275 engine in there. The extra speed and twist help a lot, and a standard 300 still allows for a lot of loadouts even with Endo.

They were all good tips, but I really wanted to second these points. I was having a hard go with my T-Bone as well, and after looking at this thread, I dropped in a 300 standard at the expense of some firepower. Holy mackerel! My game totally changed.

While it takes a little more work to get at those enemy internals, I am so much more survivable. Right after I did this, I unlocked all of the "Crap, I'm gonna die" achievements. This thing tanks like an assault... a very fast assault... with jumpjets...

I never take my T-Bolt out with less than a STD280 engine, and not less than a STD300 for ages. I've solo tanked flanking enemy lances to a standstill in mine and while I died in the end, I lasted long enough for the rest of my team to notice what was going on. Incidentally, I also got my "Crap I'm gonna die" achievements in my T-Bolt.

I have all the thunderbolts and NONE of them use the missile pod, to easy a target and makes XL engine impossible.
