If you click on the <GAME> tab at the top of this page it gives you a few pictures and a bunch of descriptive text about the game.

However there are 2 error I saw.

One was a simple grammatical error :
"MechWarrior Online puts MechWarriors into team-based and tactical battlefield where the victors swim in the spoils of war and are rewarded with the almighty C-Bill (in-game currency)."

The above sentence needs correction.

BUT far more importantly...
"Each team has 8 players and the two teams are pitted in combat in an enclosed battlefield."

The game does not even support 8 man teams anymore. This page is supposed to be a primary first introduction to get people excited about the game and as such should correctly describe the state of the game.
