You know making fun of the manner in which many Asians are unable to pronounce "L" extends beyond the Kims and as such I consider it racist and inappropriate in the public sphere.

While I'm not the original poster, I don't care what you think.

A match with all assaults and heavies was probably a pretty fun match. and nope not being sarcastic.

Also, anyone who thinks running an assault is easy mode clearly has their head up their behinds. Running a light is so ridiculously easy it isn't even a comparison. You can make mistakes in a light (like running into the entire enemy team) that no assault anywhere could do and survive. Assaults you need to be thinking 5 steps ahead at all times and one mistake = you ganged and dead. Lights? You can make tactical mistake after tactical mistake and just run bob and weave away, bouncing off cliff walls and buildings at 100+kph with no damage, all the while deluding yourself that speed = skill.

You're both wrong, Mediums are EASILY the least forgiving class. 1 mistake of any kind and you basically die or lose half your mech. You aren't small enough to dodge enemy fire, aren't fast enough to just run away scott free, and aren't tanky enough to just facecheck some PPC hits. This on top of a distinct mediocrity of upfront weapons power. With the death of SRMs, mediums can't load up on scary amounts of anything which is why the Shadow Hawk is good because it can effectively long-range-DPS instead of getting near an insanely dangerous 12v12 situation that results in mediums getting 1-shotted.

If you didn't have opinion you wouldn't have bothered to post your remark. The original Team Amerika clip had nothing to do with battletech and could be construed as racist. I am here to point out that obvious fact.

You can tell it's not a 'competitive' 12man because of the Awesome.

I love how 'competitive' is the PC word for elite or 1337. We don't even talk about high ELO anymore, since it's hidden from us. Instead, we're left with this vague adjective.

Are you even competitive, bro?

Yesterday, I was running around on Terra Therma in my Locust, and suddenly my mech was cored from behind, making my internals almost orange in a single salvo. I figured I'd been blasted by some kind of Stalker laserboat or something. It was actually a Spider 5D with 3 pulse lasers. That's how forgiving the Locust is. One mistake, and even a 30 ton Spider has crippled you in a single alpha.

Light mechs have the advantage that it's easier to avoid sticky situations if you're patient and smart. But if you look around the wrong corner in your Shadowhawk and face the guns of a heavy mech, you may lose a limb, maybe even a weapon or two. If you look around the wrong corner, peak over the wrong ridge in your light mech, the game is instantly over. Forget "Oh no, I'm cored" or "Oh, I lost my PPC arm". Game over, man. Game over.

Except for the Spider, of course.

If we're going to be pointing out obvious facts, then we should also note that Team America is a satire meant to ridicule the racial and political stereotypes of Hollywood productions. It's not really Third Reich propaganda. If you can't tell the difference, perhaps it's best to stay away from comedy.

Its not making fun of just Kim, it can by association be the same "negative" trait that millions of people share. What is the punchline of the joke? The joke is "ronely". If it only was the social isolation of an absolute dictator we would have simply used the correct English spelling of lonely. You see we are bringing down Kim via the funniness of his speech, but that weakness, that flaw is not unique to him. It is no different from making fun of Napoleon for his height. We must be very careful of not creating dark humor least it turns very ugly. Would anyone of this forum be alright with mocking politicians with hook noises? Of course not. Lightbulbs should be going on for any aware adult of how these jokes are not terribly far separated.

There is a reason I said 'competitive' with the ''. What I said was entirely tongue in cheek.

The comment wasn't directed at you, it was just intended as a funny observation. I would have included a smiley, but I don't like to give people any visual clues to decide if I'm joking. It's one of my most charming qualities, I'm told.

Your sanctimony is right up there with religious nut jobs. Go back to Starbucks and have a another Grande, Iced, Sugar-Free, Vanilla Latte With Soy Milk. While you're at it, hit a Kohls and buy some jeans that don't cut off the circulation to your lower torso, it makes you sanctimonious.
