Well, I don't see a reason for DC members to renounce anything. Its not like their faction gets whiped out. FRR will live happily ever after with CGB, so perhaps a non-issue there too.

I think the intent of the thread has been made crystal clear. It's well past due to be derailed by irrelevant commentary.

In some ways, the circumstances surrounding this faction mimick what happened to CapCon (lore-wise) in the wake of the 4th succession war - House Liao was fractured and barely standing on one leg in due to betrayal, corruption and other negative factors. Despite this, CapCon regained its footing, returned to its roots, and became a major player once again. I commend the OP and all other members for working to revitalize this house.
If you have not already, may I suggest instituting your own version of Xin Sheng, and making House Liao stand for not just a group of players, but a set of values as well. The Capellan Confederation represents community, solidarity and social responsibility (read-up on Sarna's CapCon page, espeically the "Religion and Philosophy" and "Culture" sections) - why not embody these traits? I see an opportunity for House Liao to truly rise from the ashes, and become a much needed positive example for the larger MWO community.

I'd like to formally invite every Liao mechwarrior that's interested to link up with the Gatekeepers company and defend the fringe!
We are a motivated group of players that are focused on community building. Any help we could get would be appreciated! We're happy to have casual folks join us, but we're also attempting to build a solid core of players for 12 v 12. We also don't mind new players at all, and are happy to guide you through the learning curve.
Our blog is located here, and we're always keen on contributions! We are interested in working with other bloggers who are keen on MWO and House Liao. We are happy to work with any House Kurita or Marik units as well, but no mercenaries, Davion or Steiner. The rpg aspect of the Battletech Universe is very important to us, and we preserve that in the game and in our discourse and publications. We take Battletech tactics seriously and have started a series of articles on the blog covering MWO.
Join us on TS3: gatekeepers.militech.org
On Facebook as well!
We hope to see you in game!

I wouldn't mind joining up but at home, my ping speed is so freaking awful. I try to go with recon but I kinda squandered my new member credit bonus. (Didn't realize I had one till it was about over)
Maybe if I can get stuff together, I can look more into this.
