The game definitely needs in-game VOIP.
However, I was thinking that if that's too difficult to get implemented, maybe a workaround solution is in order.
Voice-to-Text for the in-game chat could be a feasible alternative since it's all client-side.
Basically it would work just like any other voice-to-text feature on most smart phones; you'd hit the chat window prompt, start talking in your headset, and whatever you say is transposed to text. Then you'd hit enter to send.
This would allow players to type out more elaborate messages in the chat window quickly. Seconds saved can mean the difference between life and death on the battlefield.
Just an idea...

Not sure...seems possible. I'll have to try it tonight.
However, it'd be better if it was standard as part of the game because most players won't go out of their way to use third party software...and those that will, might as well use TS.
