I do not know if this has been presented before.
How about if the accuracy of the crosshair were to only change (reduce) when you shoot more than one or two weapons at the same time?
- If you shoot one weapon, the bullet/laser goes exactly to the center of the crosshair.
- If you shoot more than one, the crosshair grows (like it did on games like CS) and each bullet/laser goes out by a bit within that same crosshair.
- Now, the more you shoot at the same time, the worse the accuracy.
This could be blame to the recoil of the weapons.

I think that is a good idea but the Cool Shot, Pop Tarting Alpha kids would cry too much.

Discussed to death already. Check out DocBach's thread on the subject.

This is the "Cone of fire" idea. It has been discussed a lot, and is a bad idea. The short version is hitting lights is hard enough.

Another "pinpoint damage is the problem" thread, yay! And once again I'll say, "I like it when my shots go where I aim."

don't forget that in CS your first shot only goes exactly where you aim IF YOU DON'T MOVE AT ALL WHEN YOU SHOOT. Moving + shooting = shot going everywhere but where you aim.
Granted, the system doesn't have to be as punitive in MWO since you can't stop and go as quickly as in CS, but something similar could be added, would make hill-popping much less problematic as you have to stop for 0.5 seconds to get your shot exactly where you want.
and once again I'll say "CoD is that way -------->"

Little kid. Just go home.
I am not saying that "pin-point damage is the problem". I am saying that its one of the issues people complaint about and I was giving an opinion about a solution.
