Stuff is expensive. Stuff like engines, Artemis, Weapons and Modules are expensive. For the most part, I'm all right with this.
So I've bought lots of modules, the weapons I want, upgraded to DHS and bought the right engine for (Favorite mech A) and played around on it. Now I want to get into (Favorite mech C) and stomp around inside it for a while.
It's not that simple. First I have to go into modules>>>remove the ones I want from other mechs>>>go into (Favorite mech B)'s modules>>>add them to it and save.
Repeat that activity for engines and weapons and I'll finally be ready to stomp around in (Favorite mech C) for a few rounds. This seems tremendously unnecessary.
"But Dry Spill, you can just buy more engines/Modules/Weapons and have them in all your mechs at once!"
You'd rather play dozens of matches (For each mech) so you don't have to 'click' a dozen times to go to a new mech? Has anyone actually bought two or three sets of modules?
So here's my recommendation: Introduce Advanced Garage Mechanics for (Insert appropriate amount here) of MC. This feature will save engines/modules/weapon styles and 'transfer' them to whatever mech you'll pilot next automatically.
Essentially this means once we buy an engine/module/weapon, we can have it across all our mechs at once. Less clicking-in-garage-time, more blasting-other-mechs time.

no, that should come standard. Stripping down, choosing variants, saving loadouts, it should be as accessible to the day 1 player as much as the day 1000 player.
right now if just feels like a painter white-washing a picket fence with a 1-hair brush, it's counter-intuitive.
also the UI 2.0 isn't really turning heads either

Why make anyone work for anything? I mean you did pay for the game right? Oh wait....
This is a Free to play game, that is why they have these incentives for you to buy premium time, buy mechs with MC, buy hero mechs. More modules, more engines, means more premium time.

I have multiple modules because I don't want to change them out every match. Admittedly, I'm not going to grind out a module for every mech I own though, I'll have to change between them or go without.
I would love to see a way to save a template though and select between multiple builds. Customization is one of the things this game does well, and it would be nice to have the abilities to change between builds quickly and easily.

You're such a troll.
I used to think you were foreign or English wasn't your first language based on how poorly you use it. Now, I think I was wrong and you're just a kid.

I've thought of such mechanic for a good amount of time.
You can load any mech with any of the weapons/equipment from your surplus inventory AND that from the mechs you own.
If you run a build that steals an engine from another mech, neither of the two mechs will be available until the one using the engine is no longer in a mission.
But then there's the problem of say you have two XL-300's between three mechs you use it for. When you launch with an engine-less mech that uses the 300, does it ask you which of the other two to strip the motor from? And if you also need an AC-20 from yet another build, a seismic from another etc...
So I discarded that thought, and am grinding away for a few new XL-300's
