Options With The Map

I've been thinking for a while ever since they added in a timer in the lobby before game starts.
What if there was a option where we can actually draw on the mini map to plan out our route/destinations while in the lobby?
Can we also have a ability where every players can ping in the map while in the middle of the game?
Also, if there is a chance where you guys can further improve the map, can you add in thermal colors to point out temperature readings?
