When I have a session lost my team is told I have disconnected. It makes me look bad, maybe the devs could put two messages one for lost and one for dc if possible.

You worry too much about what random people on the internet think of you.
It doesn't make you look bad. Everybody knows that the vast majority of disconnects while you're still alive aren't from people purposely disconnecting.

You're right I won't sweat the small things but it might show everyone the extent of the problem.
