I've noticed this many times over the past week and a half;

Whenever I walk on the circular metal platform that hangs above the lava lake, there are no footstep sound effects for my mech. This also happens on some sections of the entrance bridges as well.

Steps to reproduce:
(Pretty straight-forward.)
-Play any mode in any mech on Terra Therma.
-Walk around the metal ring over the lava lake, and listen.

It is not a mode-specific bug, as it happens on both multiplayer modes, and in the Testing Grounds.

It's also not a weightclass-related issue either, as I've used mechs of all weight classes when experiencing this.

Reproduction has been 100% ever since I've consciously noticed it.

As simple as the bug is, I didn't think it needed a video. However, I can record and upload one upon request.

Same here - it's really eerie. It only seems to affect the ring itself, not the ramps leading up or down, but I may have missed a few ramps.

Yup, this has been like this for a few weeks now apparently. Absolutely no footstep sounds while in the thunderdome.

Yes. Stomp, stomp, stomp.... silence.... I've only noticed this on the ring as well. Didn't matter what mech I was in. 100% reproducible.

Hey there,

This is a known issue that we are working on. Thanks for the feedback, and we'll get this fixed ASAP. :P
