hey guys, i'm pretty dumb with computers.
i have a laptop i use for mwo and it was fine up until a month or two ago, i could run the game on high settings at or around 40+fps, now i have to run in low to get 40+fps and every time i play the game i get an error on my comp that says i don't have enough memory available to run the game.
this error doesn't seem to effect anything, i'm still able to play fine but i would like to play on higher settings
my system specs are as follows

CPU intel core i7-3630qm @ 2.40ghz
ram 8g of ddr
windows 8.1
geforce gt 650m
471 gigs free of 916 gig hard drive.

my video card drivers are up to date.
any suggestions? thank you

I'm going to suggest run the Repair Tool. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling video drivers.

Those of course are the stock answers.

I have a suspicion that it might be the Optimus settings, running on the Intel graphics instead of the 650m. Beyond that, as I have no experience with Optimus, I couldn't really say.

Thank you I will try those suggestion, I'm not sure what Optimus is but I'll look it up when I get home. I checked if it was running with the Nvidia card and it said it was but maybe it's not in reality.
