EDIT: Or as Profiteer just wrote, MM could find a replacement.

#15 Razuko: Will the matchmaker ever replace disconnected or never-loaded players before a match starts?
A: No. However, players that have been disconnected will be able to rejoin.

Also, as you indicate you are from Finland in your profile:

FTL:
Thirdly, the reason this announcement stated 'North America' is that it's for North American servers – As we have mentioned we are working very hard to launch MechWarrior Online in every region worldwide. We may also run a similar Operation for other regions, therefore we are required to recommend that for the best play experience you register and play in your region in the near future. However There is no IP blocking. You can signup from everywhere just keep in mind that if you are outside of North America we cannot guarantee your play experience.

Hmm. Are you claiming that North American players do not suffer from disconnects and client crashes? That it's only an issue for players far away from servers and thus the instability problems will go away when we get regional servers. Otherwise I don't get the meaning of this quote. This thread is not about suffering bad game experience because I disconnect but because others do. So it wouldn't help one bit even if I were from NA but other players not.

I would assume that it implies that the NA would have a better connection as it is closer to the hub. We still have DCs and {Scrap} FpS sometimes.

Seriously, if you cannot fix the issue where the other team has fewer players than the other, at least make it possible to quit the battle without it having an effect on any statistics.

Or better yet, automatically disqualify these battles. If a battle is about to start with uneven numbers, kick everyone out and let them join a new battle.

I'm sick and tired of playing battles with 1-2 less players on the other side. Waste of time.

Doesn't matter because people still D/C after the match starts...

Did you see how many times they had to restart some of the matches during the launch party? I would rather get a match in (Even when down 1 player), instead of wasting 15 mins in the Q...

The main problem is that if you're grinding cbills or trying to get double xp's for many mechs or whatever, you're much better off just quitting the game of 10 vs 12 and joining another one. Wasting your precious grind time on a battle with very small chances of victory is stupid, tbh. The only reason to stay there is honor if one is so inclined.

Why exactly is that true? If you insta-quit you get nothing, and I have frequently been able to pull at least 300 damage and a kill in matches I started down one to two mechs, with the occasional win still happening. If you quit the mech you dropped in is locked for the remainder of the match anyways so you may as well do what you can and pop out to another mech when you die. This is the real way to be as efficient as possible while grinding solo.

Throwing the word "balance" onto the end doesn't make it about balance.

Example: Jenner brown color footprint banana weasel is pretty bad balance.

I'm now incredibly tempted to create a new thread labelled "Jenner brown color footprint banana weasel balance issuse" and track how long it takes to get thrown into K-Town.

Other than "banana" which could be a color reference, MWO has a little of ALL those items. Let me see.

"Watched an Brown Atlas head to base chasing a Jenner the other night but could not determine its color, they both left a nice neat trail of Footprints that seemed Balanced. The Jenner pilot was both a weasel, yellow, like a banana, and we yelled at him as he/she ran off in disgrace." LOL!
