Missile Hit Detection

Just put 3 volleys of dual SRM6s directly into a RNV-3Ls side torso at point blank range (enemy wasn't moving), heck I was one more shot away from overheating. The thing that felt funny was that back in the day... if I were lucky enough to hit a light... it usually only took one (well placed, close up) or two (messy, 200+ yards) volleys.

2 damage per missile x 12 missiles per volley (x 3 volleys) = 72 damage

Which means the RVNs side torso had almost as much armor on it as a standard Atlas... not to mention I had x3 SSRM2's on 'em the entire time as well.

TL;DR: Missile hit detection is making my 'mech inefficient.. Sure, I don't have the best connection (and it brings my frames down?) but my ping is normally below 90.

For the record, PGI is aware of the issue and is working on Hit Detection. I've been championing this cause continually for the past few patches but they definitely know that something is wonky.

Well, to share my anecdotal evidence...i dont even remember the Map (could have been Caustic), but i faced two non-Artemis 6xSRM6 Cats recently, not at the same time though but one after another, and OMG has that Mechbuild become a Lame Duck.
I was in a SHD(P) and it was like i was shot with Softballs...

If your Mech does not allow to exploit somehow the Missile-Mechanics you better stay far away from all of them!
