How is it? I've yet to play so do all weapons (eg laser) cause false signatures? How does it work?

the changes make sense, although I will find it funny if laser shots do send ghost contacts. (read: haven't tried it yet)

You know I disliked it at first, like most, but, it makes games a little more unpredictable, improves the value and skill of scouting and encourages a more intelligent and skillful way of playing, it also gives other modules more value and makes choosing your modules more of a tough choice. Overall, I quite like it surprisingly.

So far I have noticed that you have to stand still briefly to get readings, as they say but its implemented in a way that is not as bad as everybody thinks it is. It is still fairly usable. However I have not noticed any false readings, though maybe I'm just not very attentive

I think I've lost all my situational awareness because of the old seismic - despite all my complaining about it, the old version was too powerful not to take.
Still, it'll be nice to feel like sneaking was an option again. :-)

I'm taking option D for DUMP.

I played with it for 4-5 matches and even on an assault mech it's not worth taking 2/3rds of the time.

Never about the nerf? So now that they are changed, AKA "nerfed" you only want your GXP and CBs back because they are not cosmetically pleasing in your Mechlab?

no because its not what i bought, and I can buy other mods that are more useful to my play style.
They already once "nurfed" the range. Which led me and other to believe that was that. Now this.

2 both of you:
If you go to the drive threw and order something and not get what you ordered are you not going to want a refund or them to make the order right? Or you order a PC online and when you get it a week or so later and they lowered the vidcard or gpu. are you not going to want a refund?

We can throw analogies out all day. But at the end of the day you just need excuses to be an intorwebz toughguy.

Uhm so let me get the straight...

According to your logic they should reimburse me for every item I've ever spent money and exp on that they changed that I don't like after the change

You just gave a pretty bad example. It's not the drive-tru that mixed up the order, it's the restaurant that changed the recipe to your favorite dish and you no longer like it. They can't reimburse you because you don't like something they changed.

I'm a pharmacist myself. Sometimes people come back to the pharmacy because they had an allergic reaction to a new prescription and they want me to reimburse them, which would result a in net loss for me. Sorry, but unless I made a flagrant mistake, it doesn't work that way.

It is what you bought. You used it for a very long time that way too. It was "too good to be true" for a long time. Now it is actually worth the price you paid for it instead of twice what you paid for it. Enjoy your purchase.

For an actual analogy. You bought Cable and a new HD TV to watch a specific show, but then 2 years later the network killed off your favorite characters in the show and took it in another direction. Now you want a refund on your Cable because you could have bought a dish and watched a different show instead during that time.

Your acting like this is real money and they are going to take a loss and have to lay off some of the game makers and you wont get your CW in time...

Your arguing opinions and semantics. If I want a refund thats what I want, its not up for debate or you and I to go back and forth over. I frankly dont care how you feel on the matter. Or what your unlogical mind thinks is logical or not. I want my GXP and CB back. there is nothing, no amout of bulling or torlling thats going to change my mind.

In my humbly opinion a graduation in the range would have been enough of a nerf.

e.g. Assaults (staying still), Heavys (50m), Mediums (100m), Lights (150)

You are entitled to your opinion. I am entitled to countering your opinion because it is silly. You are not entitled to a refund. Go read the fine print.
