Really should've left it in beta longer and reversed some of the wacky things they did too see if they could go other ways.

They probably should've rebalanced a lot of weapons too like srms, narc, ghost heated PLL blah blah to at least make them useful.

They really shouldve rescaled tons of mechs but alas, its moot.

What is surprising was how little 'testing' there was in Beta. You would have thought they would have been willing to really shake things out and try lots of stuff. But it was the same as now. Small tweaks after long periods of people complaining about things. PGI has actually been far more willing to try new mechanics after launch then they did in Beta.

Imagine all the new players that will have to re-learn the new UI JUST when they've gotten used to the current one.
Also to have mech screens still displaying [No-Signal, AutoDetect] must look super unfinished to new players.

as opposed to all the old players who have spent nearly two years with the old UI that WON'T somehow have to learn a new one....?

Yep. Closed beta would be the time for "hey guys, wouldn't it be cool if you had a 1% chance of losing video so your dead spectating teammates, who for no obvious reason can still see when you can't, can tell you to shoot 15 degrees to the right"?

And the frames around the Raven cockpit monitors have been broken since the mech was released.
