If your going to get it, why shortchange yourself? he Vet pack just doesn't do enough, so it was elite or nothing.

Another World of Tanks player.

Since you presumably like VK4502B, you think an Assault 'Mech will suit you best in MWO? :)

I agree, just like buying an off-the-shelf game for most systems, but with more bang for your buck.

In fact quite a few BANGS :)

Now that the European question has been cleared up, I'll be getting the Elite Founder package.

Elite for me, and probably going for a Hunchback. I never really got on with Assault mechs in any of the previous games i've played, the Catapault's never been *my* sorta mech, and the Jenner's too, well, light....

This ^. I am hesitant to spend the $60 for the elite pack, which is the one I want to buy, because I don't know for sure that the game will run on my computer. Maybe I will get lucky and get into the beta yet but I doubt it

Yeah, the founders pack fills me with all sorts of doubt. On the one hand, I love Mechwarrior and I'm looking forward to playing this. But on the other, $60 is a lot to throw down on a game without any reviews or good idea of how the game plays. I'm also in New Zealand as well, and how much of an issue latency wise really depends on the game. Its also difficult to find out what the real value of this purchase is. How big of a difference is the C-Bill booster? What things can I buy with the in game currency? If its just to attach a Monocle to my Atlas, I don't really care that much. Will you be able to buy mechs with C-Bill boosters after launch? Will you be able to put them on an Atlas? Decisions decisions.

What I kind of would like to do is buy the $30 founders pack, try out the game in closed beta and then decide whether or not I want to upgrade it for another $30.

Undecided. Thing is I have no idea what im supposed to be paying for.

Reason: Correct me if im wrong, but there is yet to be shown what the ingame currency included in the founders package can buy.
In other words. Give us more info on your cashshop.

(Bought world of tanks founders package, but i knew up front what they where selling in the cashshop. I've been in closed beta of world of tanks)

Elite ofc but not fully decided on which mech...need a little more info on that really, the devs really deserve the money and the smaller packs just not worth it:P

I'm leaning towards the Veteran package. Much as Blakmage86 said, I'm unsure if it will run on my computer. So I'll be throwing $30 at PGI for the entertainment in finding out and in thanks for making this game, even if I can't personally enjoy it.

Secondly, even if it runs smooth as glass, that extra $30 is basically just for a Mech, right? A cool looking mech with cash bonuses, but still, a mech that I might not even want to ride in after a couple weeks. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to have my mind changed on this.

Elite Tuesday as soon as it's offered. The Elite Mech is great, the 2 month premium subscription is great. But the most important thing is there giving me $80 for $60. So that's a free Mech, 2 month sub, and $20. Cant beat that deal!
