I have an idea how they could solve the missile arms, but I don't think they will do it.
Instead of the box being the arm (like it currently is), have the post it sits on be the actual arm, and the box be the variable geometry weapon. They could make a few different sized boxes for big/small LRMs and SRM launchers. If no missiles were equipped, the boxes would be gone but the post would remain.
Any shot to the weapon would automatically apply to the arm as it should.

No missile boxes yet but look at those PPCs, high mounted ballistics and the detail.... I think this is a test model with all the hardpoints so not a configuration allowed, but still... Thanks to Bishop for finding this.

Barantor, I promise you, I shall purchase the Buttlebee variant of the Catapult and I WILL find the UGLIEST combination of black, yellow and stripes for the camo. And after I do this... I shall find you after probably several dozen random matches... and you shall weep at the sight of my mech.
(If for some reason the RNG gods do not place us in the same match on the same team then that would foil my evil plan completely. Hrm.)
