HOW DARE YOU SIR! No, but if you are in a Cat you shouldn't let the enemy get close enough to take advantage of the hitboxes. You should be spraying them with LRMs from a distance from behind cover. I can handle a little more mass not a little more ugly.

We simply don't like omni-fication of IS mechs.
And it's always been our point that even if they did dynamic meshes for them, it wouldn't look properly, because of two factors:

1. The modification makes no sense from an engineering standpoint, like the AC/20 raven, for instance.
2. Even if it did make sense, there's no way that each variation gets the proper love it deserves (like, for instance, Cat K2 PPC mod) by the dev team due to deadlines and as such, they will have to resort to bandaid design like the omnipresent PPC-mini, or the rocket launchers like the ones you're looking at now.

LRMs are near useless from behind cover unless you brought your pet spotter and even so your best off within 600m of your target. The best current use of LRMs is using TAG (and Artemis) from ~500 meters or less with clear line of sight.

Though any way you cut it the Stalker makes a fair better LRM boat than the Catapult.

1. Engineering standpoint.. hue. When the BJ came out and all the weapon swaps worked, no one batted an eyelid about it.
2. Realize that they already have a better solution to correct missile tubes on many of the load outs already before they even revamped the CPLT. eg 3 LRM5s in an arm can just be the already existing LRM15 boxes.

I've been worried about this happening for a while, and they managed to make my worst fears come true (regarding the catapults). Non-catapult-like hero, and awful weapon visualization changes. Simply awful...

I would also appreciate an update as to when the colour scheme will be applied to the additional pods, to ensure aesthetic consistency. Matte black, as you may have guessed, does not suit my style.

Anyways, this isn't -as- bad as the new ears.. Atleast the side profile hitbox got SMALLER.
I'm really worried about these new missile pod ears ;) :lol: :wacko: :blink: :( :( :( I don't know how else to express my anxiety outside of really loud yelling and photoshop. :(

I should clarify, when he says "Normalised" in relation to the pattern, its because I questioned also why the Pirate Paint Job had changed as well (C1 used to have "Missiles Everywhere" and a less derpy skull, but now its LRM20 size its got the LRM20 C4 paintjob)

.... yeah, I liked the Buccaneer paint job better on the C1 boxes as well. I don't like the fat C4 boxes and don't want them on my C1.
