Spoiler

ive tried altering the different settings (you have to leave game and re-enter for any changes to take effect, and thus is only applicable in testing grounds) with some interesting results.

I can run everything at maximum 1920x1080 @ 60 fps, barring environmental detail and shadows, if these are changed to anything but low I get massive fps drops...especially environmental detail.

if I set everything, including those 2 settings, to medium, I get a average of 30-35 fps

going from low to med on enviro detail cuts my fps in half regardless of what the other setting are...even if everything else is on low.

intense combat seems not to be a factor, however firing into the water, especially with sun glare reflecting from it, drops fps by 30% to 40%, this also happens when firing into the snow with glare on it

ok

system: GTX670, i7 3770K, 16GB Ram, Win7 64bit Pro

I usually play at 1920*1200 with everything on maximum except motion blur (on low), v-sync on. I usually am always at 60fps (due to v-sync).

Bad:
- No walking sound
- Map HUD bug
- Black flashing when mechs drop at start (like in CB)
- Black sceen after end of first match, crashed when going into the mechlab
- Drop to 30fps when looking at a dead, smoking mech
- All weapon group indicators at the crosshair flash green when a gauss rifle is charged up (works fine on live build)
- Killing a mech while facehugging him results in huge fps drop due to all the explosions.

Good:
- Feels smoother on max settings
- Alt-tabblng back into the game happens instantly, before short waiting time with a black screen (about a second)

TXAA:
(enabled after about 1 hour on playing in the PTS)
Usually I use PostAA and its completely fine for me
Turning TXAA on resulted in reloading all textures on first drop (everything was grey, then all tex loaded)
My FPS dropped to about 48 with TXAA (before capped at 60 and steadily there)
See no reason to use TXAA, no significant visual improvement over PostAA and its slower
Turning V-sync off for TXAA testing (in-game over the option screen) did not change anything at all which was weird.

Performance still crummy, very CPU heavy. Combat framerate in low 10's. Here's my dxdiag:

Mostly good except one problem: changing graphics setting has absolutely no effect. Resolution changes properly. Fullscreen/windowed — ok. Average FPS dropped from about 40-45 to 25-30.

Currently running on my laptop:
Win 7 x64 SP1
Core i5 3210M (2 cores 4 threads)
GeForce 640M 2GB
Ram 8GB

Checked at laptop's 1366x768 display and Full HD 24" display

Can't switch resolution either (no such option). Can't force full screen using alt-enter. It takes longer to load the initial match screen (where we click ready). Slight FPS drop. Game feels a bit sluggish, but overall there's no difference nor improvement from DX9.

PS: I need to force fullscreen with a low resolution unless I want the game to have no more than 8 FPS. I really need this option...

Played four matches with DX11 right now and saw no big graphic bug's. Thats great.
I also got no disconnects or crashes of the game - fine !
So it seems to be quiet stable for me.

But in every game there was a disconnect of an other Mech. Maybe it dont work for everybody.

All I have to complain about is the performance.
For my normal graphics setup I saw now big difference in frame rates between DX 11 and DX 9.

But when I activate the new AA settings my frame rates dropped to about 50% of the normal rate.
That has been the case from the AA setting "off" to TXAA and also from "off" to MSAA.

That's quiet much and therefore I would never activate that in a normal game. Just for testing.
By the way, I played at fullscreen with 1920x1200 resolution with a GTX 680 (one active).

Also SLI does not work. I hoped that it would do so with the DX 11 update.

FPS in bottom right corner.

MAX settings ~ 2400x1350 resolution

OK testing ground pic up, didnt do all of them.

So goingby this the test server client seems to be using a little more VRAM and has more load on it, thus the lower FPS.

Gunna play some assualt rounds see if any of the Live client performance bottlenecks pesent (by that i mean, < 60 FPS even though all CPU threads are not capped and nether is GPU

EDIT: ran out of time.

CPU - Quad Core I7-3770K
RAM - 8GB
GPU - Radeon 7950, driver version 9.12.0.0
Win 7 Home 64bit SP1

Turned everything to Max, resolution set to 1900x1200, tested in windowed and full screen - no noticeable difference in performance between the two modes.

Game ran at the same frame rate as Dx9 normally does except for when there was smoke visible in the picture - this caused a frame rate drop from 45-60 fps, down to 30fps. Once the smoke had cleared, frame rate went back up to normal levels. Other than than no issues to report.

Win 7
i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz w/8gig Ram
8gigs ram.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 4gig ram

The newest Nvidia driver 331.65

I had no issues with DX11 and any issue I did have was user error.

I experienced only one drop in performance and that was on Frozen City when I and another mech were trying to occupy the same space while fighting.

Fix for the resolution issue.

- Switch to DX9, restart the client.
- Change resolution to your chosen one. It should be 1280 by default (low).
- Switch to DX11, restart the client.
- It should be fine now.

This works!

I had a blank resolution selector so I used the NVIDIA GeForce Experience to change settings from 1280x720. The game seemed to behave perfectly afterword at 1920x1080 fullscreen with everything at very high and high. Win8 x64 GTX660ti 331.65 driver. Very promising in my view!

OS - Windows 8.1
CPU - i5-2500K (at ~4.0 GHz)
GPU - 660ti (slightly overclocked)
RAM - 8GB

I had no issues with the DX11 build. Everything seemed to work just fine.

I tried TXAA and MSAA with everything at the highest settings at 1920x1080. Achieved around 35-45 fps with TXAA and 20 - 30 with MSAA, though both looked very good. The best thing I noticed about this build is that everything seems MUCH smoother. In DX9 I tend to see the fps jumping around a lot which results in stuttering and screen tearing (likely because my fps will go from 70 all the way down to 45). I noticed some stuttering with MSAA, but TXAA was incredibly smooth, with very few tears or stutters.

Good job.

My whole desktop looked like the game was in a resolution other the what I had set it to, something I see in other games that come up in a lower res then the monitor; alt-tabing in and out fixed it, mostly.

AA was still just a yes/ no slider, as fare as I could tell.

Conquest cap indacater was half red, half, blue everywhere I went: the text would change color, and it'd flash while "in motion," but not really readable like normal.

Much improved fps, but you had to fineness the driver AO settings to get it so: Easy to fail back to the same-ol'-same-ol' numbers …

Getting pretty much the same common win8 bugs (not being able to select res etc)
All was good, testing at 1440p with maximum settings rarely dropping below 50fps with v-sync off.

Encountered a bug where on exiting In game client It black-screened, although able to click and use start bar, the black covered any other windows, including task manager thus forcing restart.
Happened once on exiting client from mechlab as well, although due to it being windowed I was able to recover.

TXAA worked with the following caveats: Due to Win8 res change bug, when I turned on TXAA it reset My resolution, so was unable to test past 720p. When working I had some bright "spot" artifacting on the water in Crimson Strait, however due to the low resolution I was unable to determine whether this was due to the Poor res and High detail settings or a genuine glitch.

- No footsteps.
- Res change between 2560x1440 and 1920x1200 seamless in-game full screen.
- Details from very high to medium and back in-game full screen worked for me
- LL in thermal looks considerably less bright though still visible.
- FPS comparable to DX9 although grand melee (10-15 mechs) on Frozen City drops maybe 3-4fps.
- JJ's visual effect delayed by 05.s whereas the sound effect occurs as soon as button to jump is pressed.
- Alt-tabbed from FS in-game to IE. Tabbed back after game finished. Mechlab was full screen!
- Full window mode gave 6-8fps jump over full screen on Tourmaline
