Not a problem really Ike. The Devs have locked up the Kell Hounds and hinted that people can earn their way into the Hounds at a later date. How that will work out we dont know and regardless in our hearts and souls we will maintain the spirit of the Kell Hounds. Till then we are operating under the banner of the Shadow Hounds in omage to our fearless leader that has kept the unit going through good times and bad since '05.

Cheers. It's been a while since I've played a mechwarrior game, so naturally, I'm ecstatic. This release is to me what StarCraft 2 was to South Korea. If anyone here remembers the good old days on Solaris 7, you may have found your way into my crosshairs at some point. If so, sorry about your knee actuators.

Anyway, my old callsign on S7 was Cannabys and so it is now, along with my main in WoW (Eonar-US-Horde) and my handle in SC2. cannabys is everywhere

As far as affiliations, I was a loner on S7 so I don't really have any ties canonically to this community. I do know a ton about Battletech canon, however. In a startling allegory for the US 2 party system of government, The Successor States are weak and short-sighted and the clans are religious extremists that intend to take back the good old days through superior firepower. That leaves the mercenaries, my kind of dudes. Of all the great merc units out there, my first choice would be the Kell Hounds. Arc-Royal is beautiful this time of year.

If you need a resumee, I have one here that I wrote on a Smoke Jaguar elemental's scalp. Killed him with a bottle of Tobasco and a straight razor.
