Hello all. My suggestion here is simple. If you load up your mech fully, only to find that you cannot mount enough ammo to max out your mech, and you cannot remove any armor or weaponry, I feel you should be able to mount less than a single ton of ammuntion. Using a Streak SRM-2 for my example, if I load up a single ton of ammo, as well as three tons of ammo for an AC/10, and one ton of ammo for an AMS, and I still have .5 tons left over, I should be able to also mount .5 tons of Streak ammo. As I said, a simple suggestion, and something that would save me quite a bit of trouble in my games, as I'm sure it would a number of others.

I Would Be Interested To See An Option Allowing The Loading Less Than One Ton Of Ammo.

I've always thought that it would be cool if ammo came in loadable "magazines" that take up 1 crit slot each, with each magazine being able to hold up to 1 ton of ammo.
That is, each magazine taken would allow you to place up to 1 ton of ammo into it or any fraction thereof. Much like how armor points are assigned, each round/shot would add incremental weight until it reached its max weight of 1 ton.
For example, each round of AC/5 ammo would weigh 1/30th of a ton (since there's 30 rounds of AC/5 ammo per ton). So if you wanted to load 10 rounds into an AC/5 magazine it would add roughly 0.3 tons (give or take).
Or even if each magazine could hold up to two half-ton increments for simplicity, that would be cool. Basically like how some engines can hold up to a certain amount of heat sinks, an ammo magazine would be listed as 0.5 tons used or 1 ton used.

Yep, I suggested the same thing here (http://mwomercs.com/...ton-ammo-packs/) but apparently the thread got pushed off the first page fairly fast.

half ton or less ammo? Yes PLEASE! Still take up the crit spot, but able to take less then 1 ton to "fill" in the gaps of .5 ton weapons or odd numbers when you have Ferro.

yea TT allowed for 1/2 ton ammo for same amount of crit space. This one always seemed like a no brainer to me. It's not a big deal and allows for trying to figure out what to do with that .68 tons you have left over on a build sometimes
