What can you say besides 93.2kph?!

Lets see yours.
FIREBRAND-XL340-AC20-PPC-2mL
FIREBRAND-XL340-AC20-5mL
FIREBRAND-AC10-ERLL-3mPL
FIREBRAND-2UAC/5-4mL
FIREBRANDual AC10
FIREBRAND-UAC/5-ERLL-5mL
FIREBRAND-2PPC-4mL

What to do with 2.5 tons and no slots?
Remove Endo!
FIREBRAND-2ERLL-4mL-21DHS

Yes, these are hot but when you learn to not click fire every single second of the game you find that with some patience you can have 2 separate groups of weapons that when fired separately can work.

I've always loved this one. One of my best performing mechs in my stable.

This is what i would probably run if i bought a brand
boo dual ac 20's!
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...db2482f373b2ac2
Two ac 5's - 180 Ac 5 ammo
4 medium lasers
2 small lasers
13 double heatsinks
368 armor
XL 335

Thoughts? :)
Now you can do 12 double heatsinks and 6 medium lasers also (may work well too 6 mids, 2 ac 5, 91 kph)
Or A XL 325 and 6 medium lasers with 13 doubleheatsinks and 2 ac 5 - 89 kph

The twin lb 10x - 4 small - 2 medium 89 kph firebrand with 11 doubles
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...df26123ef43e0e2
(You can do a xl 355 - 91.8 kph with 10 doubles)

XL 340 - 93.6 KPh - 6 small laser - 10 doubles - Twin lb 10x - 60 LB 10x ammo - with 384 armor
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...be6fa9ddffe2302
B)
**16 double - 6 medium - 2 ac 2 - 450 ac 2 ammo - xl 335 - 91 kph firebrand
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...84a1ea962679d86
You can do 17 doubles with 4 mediums and 2 small lasesrs or 16 doubles , xl 340 , 4 mids ,2 small ,2 ac2, high armor

My love for the LB-X AC is such that I've cobbled together this, just for the heck of it. However, it's not actually a good build. Not by a long shot. My earlier DD "Rutger Hauer" (2x LB10, 4x MG, 2x ML) is far superior performance-wise. So what I really need right now are light PPCs or ER MLs...

I can't wait until they bring about the Jihad patch, and/or until we get all the weapons that should be in the game. Mmm hyper assault gausses and rotary autocannons...

Good post. People often forget that speed is a weapon.

Here is what I use. It is a good balanced build, which handles most situations.

FIREBRAND XL340, 2xAC5, 2xML, 4xSL

Players underestimate the value of small lasers.

And yes, speed adds many tactical advantages that most people tend to overlook.

I've rocked this build from Day 1 and I've never even considered changing it up:

XL260
2 PPCs
2 AC/5s

It's like running dual gauss rifles, only better.

I am now playing a similar build, only with a little more range.

It is working much better than I expected.
