Any whispers on the web of a possible fix to the horrendous size of the Orion's CT? 90% of all shots seem to land on my CT, even with torso twisting I still get a lot of hits on my CT. I;m hoping there will be a fix, I'm not holding my breath but it needs it.

I'm not entirely looking forward to any hit box changes. I saw a post about painting Orions solid black, and figured I'd try it. It turns out I do take a lot less CT hits since then, but I also got better with them, so take it with a grain of salt. I do find that I lose my side torsos as much or more than my center, however. Especially than damned missile shoulder, which is still there on the variant with no missiles in the shoulder!

To top it off, though it doesn't affect me because I no longer spend money on this game, the nifty new flame-job camo makes that shoulder a solid block of the flame color on the front! Not like it's covered in flames, but like there's the base color, and the flames, and one gi-normous shoulder that's a solid block of one of the flame colors with no flame pattern, for no discernible reason. As if the damned thing didn't seem to have enough of a bull-eye painted on it, already!

Edit:
Losing my side torsos may simply be due to me always trying to move laterally to any targets I'm facing, making ballistic shots tend to hit the trailing side.

Poor Awesome. I fear it will be many months before they finally try to make that mech good.

Honestly Orion is not the best mech .

No jump-jets,lor arms, big ct . Mixed hardpoints . Theres like nothing uniqe about him .

Also fixing hitbox won't make him better than other similar mechs . Awesome will still have 6-7 energy slots which is why i won't use him .

We will see how the hitbox improvements actually improve the awesome and orion, as the moment they are risky to use though the V and VA models make good missile platforms.
