So true. The ONLY role it has for me it has is being one of the original 16 mechs. I spend more time running away than actually doing combat. BUT it is so gratifying to distract an Atlas with little pew-pew guns instead of engaging the other members of my time. (Immediately afterwards my Locust gets horrifically killed, giving my team time to bring down the fatty with less damage)
But seriously, yes at first glance it is generally viewed as a waste of metal and myomer. On the other hand. It makes a decent distraction. I bought the Locust because its THE Locust, not because its a walking death pew-pew machine.

Your Wolf Pack of Lights did a great job in that match! And you did phenomenal in your Locust. You are an EXCEPTION to the rule.

Sadly. Yes. (Then claim the Abram is OP. Its gun is OP, or the wheels of the Jeep are nerfed, or the dev's ninja buffed the Abrams etc. etc.)

I've been piloting dual-gauss Jagers, 3meds/2strk 3L's, and streak-laden ShadowHawks lately just because they're "cheap". I've started not caring and just playing for fun. I know, I'm a horrible person.

Yes - but only when I pilot it. Whatever anyone else pilots should suck.

If you kill someone with [WEAPON X], it's perfectly balanced. If someone kills you with [WEAPON X], it's OP and should be nerfed immediately.
