So, I decided to put all together in this topic - maybe you will find something new here.

The repaints are in order of execution. As you can see, I improved a lot over time (from the crude Cicada to the beautiful Mad Dog and Hellbringers).

Early works:

1- Cicada CDA-2A, 1st Atrean Dragoons

Edit done: removed the Ultra-Autocannon.

2- Stalker STK-3H, House Ma-Tsu Kai

Edit done: removed the Large Lasers, enlarged the arms' missile racks (LRM-20s).

3- Jenner IIC, Epsilon Galaxy

Edit done: added missile racks in the arms, edited the one in the torso.

4- Stalker, custom variant and paint job. [template by Hayden]

Edit done: enlarged all missile racks (now LRM-15s), replaced Large Lasers for Medium Lasers.

Maturity:

5- Highlander, Rhonda Snord's variant. (made before the MWO's hero mech was released)

Edit done: speakers outside the head.

6- Blackjack, custom paint job, inspired on the Macross Valkyrie. [template by Nacon]

Edit done: added jumping pose and effects; fixed the lasers' locations.

7- Orion IIC, Beta Galaxy (Shadow Wolves)

Edit done: torso mounted LRM15 trasformed to arm mounted LRM20. Medium Lasers (green lens) transformed in Large Lasers (blue lens). AC/10 transformed into a Gauss Rifle.

8- Victor VTR-9A1, Hansen's Roughriders. (I was hoping this variant would make it to the game) [template by Ironhawk]

Edit done: added machineguns in the side torsos and replaced the Gauss Rifle with an AC/20.

Experimentation:

9- Atlas, custom paintjob for Halloween Contest.

Edit done: added fire and heat effect.

10- Marauder (Reseen), generic paintjob, for Marauder Redesign Contest.

Edit done: new mech made by using parts of several MWO mechs.

11- Warhammer (Reseen), in Phoenix Project colors.

Mech model made by mgto.

Edit done: improved laser lens, added burning effect to the sky.

Edit done: changed the proportions of the mech, to look more like the MW2 Summoner. Added battle torn effect and rust to the painting.

14- Battlemaster "Starbird", Hanse Davion's mech. Painting based on this.

Edit done: removed the SRM box.

15- Warhawk (Masakari) - Ghost Bear, Omega Galaxy (new version)

Edit done: removed the decals and cleaned the mech.

16- Stormcrow (Ryoken), Nova Cat, Xi Galaxy.

Edit done: removed the decals and cleaned the mech.

17- Firestarter, terrific Firestarter.


18- Firestarter, 1st Sword of Light


19- Super Griffin, 21st Centauri Lancers. [template by Ironhawk]

I have been seriously thinking about buying a Wolfhound pack even if i rarely use IS 'Mechs now, just to have one to transform into a Wolfhound IIC with IS weapons.. I am sure once PGI figures out Clan BattleMechs Grinner will be the first Clan hero BattleMech

Now go putting some Kell Hound decals on it! Sleep is for the freebirth!

Looks great.

Wish they put proper ears on it, and that the legs were about 10% longer, but overall, not a bad effect.

Thing is not all mechs are panted the same, and the Wolfhound had a lot more red on its legs than the others.
