Hey All,

A friend and i have noticed our energy weapons do not appear to be hitting internal componants for damage.

We have a number of mech builds with energy weapons and there avg dmg and kills per round has dropped since the last patch.

we started investigating and noticed we can strip armor no problems but once the armor is gone we just dont register hits.

is anyone else noticing the same thing?

Aslo we are in Australia so not sure if its a host state rewind issue

I have not noticed a difference, and I run energy-heavy light builds 99% of the time. I usually have a ping of around 30 though.

I'm having equal trouble damaging internals and armor, which wasn't an issue before. ~300 ping here.

Same here against fast mediums and lights... But I feel this problem has been around for a long long time already.

I have seen this happen exactly once for me. An opponents arm had red internals and I tried to take it off for the componet destroyed bonus, but regardless of the number of laser alphas it did not take any damage, and I died trying to destroy that arm. I run at about 120 ping usually and do not have major issues regarding hit registration outside of typical stuff like lights, spiders, and srms.

That is a problem since CB with a few weeks break after Hitscan-HSR was implemented.
