Mech's have gyroscopes, we know this. So why is it that my gyro compensates automatically for firing an ac/20, but it is incapable of preventing aim variation when someone with JJ's lands next to me.

(does it happen when someone falls off a cliff and lands next to you?)

How is my amazing piece of tech compensating entirely for incredible events internally and failing miserably at negating actions taken near me. WTF? really a mech landing up to 100m away from me affects my aim, but an AC/20, AC/10, etc has no effect on my visuals or aim?

equal and opposite reaction....

Weapons in BattleTech aren't solidly mounted to the chassis. They are mounted on assemblies that allow them to articulate. These same assemblies absorb any recoil.

Even the lightest 'Mech is 40,000 pounds (15,750 kilograms). That's going to transmit though the ground a ways.

Few people realize this, but your aim doesn't change when the screen shakes. It remains exactly where you aim it. It's kind of an automatic reaction -- the screen shakes, so we think we have to adjust our aiming point. But it doesn't work that way.

we really do not need more realism tweaks right now, what we need is CW, UI2.0 and more gametypes..

Actually, OP has a goof point - AC's atm are a bit overpowered and used by the majority, why not make the downsides that thwey cause slight screen shake, not much, just some - Getting progressively bigger up to AC20
