My suggestion may require alittle bit of playing with the CryEngine 3 AI. Basically, I am suggesting that the addition of Consumable units be available to players.
Example (all units last until destroyed or match ends):
Light Infantry Team: 20 men Armor 2 each armed with MGs and SRM 1 launchers They will sit at the designated location and attack the Random Enemy Mechs within range. Cost: 10,000 CB
Elite Light Infantry Team: 20 men Armor 2 each armed with Light Lasers and SRM 2 launchers. They will sit at a designated Location and attack Random Enemy Mechs within range. Cost: 5 MC
Mobile Jump Infantry: 20 men Armor 2 each armed with MGs and Explosive Charges. These guys once dropped will continue to move toward the closest Targeted mech in an attempt to set off charges and take down the mech. Their speed is 40kph and have 1 jump jet. Cost: 25,000 c-bills
Elite Mobile Jump Infantry: 20 men Armor 2 each armed with Light Lasers and Explosive Charges. These guys once dropped will continue to move toward the closest Targeted Mech in an attempt to set off charges and take down the mech. Their speed is 40kph and have 1 jump jet. Cost: 10 MC
Inner Sphere Battle Armor Team: Team of six men in Inner sphere battle armor (10 Armor each) these guys are armed with Light Lasers and SRM 2 launchers. When dropped they will move toward closest enemy targeted mech with the intent to take it down. Their speed and 60 kph and have 3 jump jets. Cost: 40,000 c-bills
