I'm sorry MWO, but you simply can't keep up to the awesomeness that is both XCOM and Total War combined, my need of tactics and strategies are drawing me away from you :S

But perhaps I'll come back once the devs start putting the thinking in their thinking men shooter?

Anyway, see you soon folks!

Oh and forgot about X: Rebirth. Damn, November is kicking in the nuts with all its awesome games.

the what now? You're talking to someone who's trying to do another run at Classic Ironman (aka, the way real men play XCOM) and if you're talking about those "seekers", just put everyone in overwatch and wait for one to spawn. If lucky enough, you'll kill it before he chokes any squad members. Fairly simple.

Unless you meant sectopods? Now those are nasty.

oh, yeah, they're only dangerous during the first and perhaps second terror mission. Once you get lasers, armor and 5 squad members it's very easy to take them on

yeah, they screwed me hard during the alien base mission. won the mission at the cost of 5 captain or higher troops. restarted from before then though.

ah, I won't have this luxury since I'm doing an Ironman. How can you lose 5 captains? You mean you had 6 troops and lost 5 of them? Just train your assaults to get the reaction shot at close range and chryssalids will say GG.

Xcom got to the point where I was just finishing it for the story. Ugh... fun, but just repetitive.

The original version was fun, but maybe I'm looking at that through the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia.

Hope to see you again, come back soon!

hmm Niko, I think you overreacted a bit with sending this to K-Town. I posted about 2 non-mwo games in the off topic discussions. My little jab at MWO was simply to make my point that I'm a strategy gamer first, a FPS gamer second. Once MWO comes back to its "tactical heritage" I'll be back in a blink. No need to get so cranky about this, jesus.

I'm intrigued by x:rebirth. I have read some literature on it and deciding it will be my game until my next little squirt comes along in 9 months......Then you don't have time for video games ;).

Mmmmmmmm cake is good......is it ice cream cake this time?
