The Trial mech system isn't very good at letting people, well, try 'mechs. They're saddled with a single variant - often a horrendous one - and forced to make do. It would be nice, however, to have a way to ACTUALLY try 'mechs before you buy them!

There's two ways to go on this:
Planetside 2 route: Let players unlock any 'mech for an hour (once per day) and give it full capability, but no Cbill/XP gain while using it.
MC route: Simply charge people MC to rent a fully-pilot treed 'mech for a short period of time, giving them a chance to see if the 'mech is for them without investing 4,500 MC on it to start.

It seems like a surefire way for PGI to make some extra money with minimal work.

Seems like a good idea to me,but there are a lot of good ideas that PGI has left out.
