I'm here to pew pew, not playing in a walking simulator .
Let me dust this off again:
If you properly defend your base you get pew pew every single match. If you don't find out where the enemy is, run to a location to get your pew pew on, and ignore your base, then you are taking the chance that someone else will run around and ruin your pew pew. So claiming you want pew pew and ignoring your base means you don't want pew pew about 1/5th of the time.
Before you try the, "It's boring." or "It doesn't work". defending your base does not mean sitting your fat atlas butt on it. It means figuring out where the enemy is, and preventing them from moving towards your base. That is active, that is pew pew.

You are totally right.
Right now, i'm removing dust from my spider, putting cap accelerator and then ruining the fun of other players. If players complain about cap-warrior online, i will tell them to start a topic here
It's true, anyone thinking capstuff is boring should begin to ruin the game with lights playing objectives. AT the end, devs will be forced to do something or let the game die.
Beat you to it. Had a team whine and complain about a cap win this weekend. Thing is 2 Atlases, a Shadowhawk, and a Hunchback circled around in Canyons and capped them. That is right, 2 Atlas on their base. Their scouting failed AND we were up a kill when we hit the base. Then they whined when they sent a LIGHT back to stop it then a medium and we basically nuked them. If you let an Atlas on your base... you were dumb. Just hang your head and go cry yourself to sleep.
