I'd love to play MWO using a Omni for my legmovement and dual wielded wiimotes or good Kinect tracking of my arms for the torso and of course the arms. Combined with an Occulus Rift this, I believe, would be the ultimative and most immersive mech experience ever.

I read about possible Track IR and Occulus support, but what about Kinect and a treadmill?

Here you can watch a guy playing skyrim with a treadmill and kinect and a rift like device (which as far as I know everyone can build himself with a 3d printer and eg a highdefinition smartphone), looks like fun and pretty perfect for a mechsim.

Has anyone allready done something like this?

I mean, all those tripple display setups are cute, but nothing really more in my opinion.
This would be a walk down the whole road of immersion, not just a little step.

Just no... While awesome for most anything else, you are not your mech. A simpit would be a much better representation.
