Look at all of the posts below about the "Working" or weapons or their hit detection. It seems to be that a few people have problems and a few people have none. This is a good thing about a bad problem. The problem is that *hit detection* is not working equally for everyone. Cases are that something does not work or register on a mech and there are always replies that say deal with it. (Is that the best you can think of or use as an alibi?)
So here is the simple message or realization: hit detection does work, hit detection does not work for everyone, and hit detection needs to be fixed.
PGI, I think that the problem may not just be hitboxes. If there is something more than just that you need to take a second look at every possible situation please. I know that a lot is on your plate but an equal playing field is very important. People having problems and some not is one of them.
Specifically lasers seem to be a problem, a few describe it that not when alpha striking with all lasers it seems all damage is not picked up and in other cases it would work completely fine. If the rate of working could be raised a little higher, then it would work a little better.
As I always say, "You can change for consistency to make it work for you." Find what works with hid detection and get that sucker working for everybody or nobody. Thank you!

PGI are aware that HSR (Host State Rewind, the thing that makes weapons actually hit regardless of ping) has some issues, and will hopefully be able to fix it soon. No ETA. Feel free to complain about it in the meantime, because poor hitreg in a shooting game sucks bad

Hit Detection
We are aware there are still some issues surrounding hit detection, particularly with SRMs and also certain Mechs hitboxes. As Paul recently posted hitboxes are being addressed and we are scheduling time for a closer look into why SRMs are suffering a loss in accuracy compared to other weapons.
