Love these designs! For myself I picked Bishop Steiner's becuase it more resembles the 75 ton Marauder. The other ones to me look more like Marauder IIs with how beefy they are. All are bad *** though.

EDIT: Resident Crow's submission was a close second for me. The arms are frickin sweet.

I think 3 and 4 are both really good, I picked 4 because I feel it has more of the Battle Tech feel to it, where as i'd expect to see 3 in the next Macross series. Honestly, I'd have either in my mech bay.

I really like both of those designs. The Marauder needs to have its arms moved forward, of course, and the top cannon is a bit tall, but otherwise that is an amazing design that represents the Marauder very well (i.e. You wouldn't have to tell me what it actually was). The Warhammer design is actually perfect for me, but probably too perfect to make it past Hardanal Gold...

Quick question before I actually vote...am I suppsosed to take into account the likelihood of a lawsuit by Harmony Gold when voting? Or am I supposed to vote based on which design I feel embodies the original Marauder the best???

Generally leaning towards the one you like the most that embodies the original design while taking into account the lawsuit by Harmony Gold.

thanks. I will probably never put the forward thrust arms on a design, because of how horribly they would unbalance the mech. The Butt would have to be huge to counter weight.

I find it rather odd, after reading through the comments, how the majority of the posts where people mebtion their choice and justify their opinion, has a very noticeable trend of players saying #4 fits the Marauder redesign bill better than the rest with #1 being a close second [and nearly all of those give mad props to #3 for being really good but not quite what they feel a Marauder redesign should be] yet there is a landslide victory going for #3 at more than a 2:1 ratio of the next closest design. Either Marcobra also has mad skills in advertising his design elsewhere or someone is repeatedly making new accounts just to vote for that specific design. I wish we could see a list of the names of the voters.

I say take the legs from #3 design and the torso of #5 and that would make a great combo that could fit right into this game.

Easier, if less interesting, solution: silent majority can apply to forum polls.

What I find more odd is the fact we have so few voters in total. 660 is less than I had expected.
