Was bored, felt like doing an old school rendition of the Stinger mech, borrowing art concepts from the original battledroids supplements and such.

Also kept things kinda spindly/industrial due to it's place as a low cost mech with minimal armor. As for the cockpit, it's recessed into the torso, only the top half of the pilot is actually in the "head".

and just because, an unfinished concept piece for the VALKYRIE that I am working on.

you should definitely go and make a proper digital painting out of them. They have nice proportions and interesting surface details!

great work!

edit: I like the 2nd one even more because of the dynamic stance

Wow, excellent art!
They would work very well in MWO.

Want. Valkyrie.

Bishop, your mech art is clean, straightforward, and simply spectacular.

These are perfect, I love the style and proportion of the Stinger and the Valkyrie is coming along the same way. I like the nods to the older art like the Valk's headphones and the Stinger's head shape, but they actually look like battlemechs now!

Wish you a lot of boredom then ^_^ Second design is spectacular, and nice to see how you approach it.

Oh that Valk looks nice! The stinger is a little too greebly in my opinion. The arms look like they have no armor at all. The proportions are good, and I like the head and legs. Maybe add some flashing to hide the bones a bit, like you have on the Valkyrie's shoulders?
