It's for me to see whether I can eclipse my Jenner success in FireStarters.

Could you please advise me which variant you find most successful, and what loadout you recommend for it?

(I'm excluding the Ember - even though I suspect it's the best varient - because I already have 7 Hero Mechs and just spent a bunch of money on Clan Mechs.)

Thanks in advance for your advice.

EDIT: Here's three I've just theorycrafted:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...47830708a12626c Replicates my successful Jenner-F build, adding the advantage of an AMS.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...579ea765dfdedb5 Replicates my successful Jenner-F build, adding the advantage of 2xMGs (not that I've found MGs all that useful, to be honest).

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...04631ac98fc7606 Don't know about this one. It has the advantage of being able to strike at range with the ERL, but for close in work, I'm less convinced about the usefulness of SLs. Note it has a slightly smaller (285XL) engine.

(Ember)

For me, it's been this guy FS9-S
still has plenty of speed, twist and shout like it's a Shadowhawk and it tanks damage well for such a lil guy. the 4 JJ is the minimum I will run, and gives plenty of boost overall, though the launch arc is often a bit flat if you are moving at speed when you jump. ER Large gives you nice long range harassment, and the 6 smalls are like scalpels. Legging ands coring fat Assaults with it is child's play. Dual AMS (sometimes) gives extra protection from SSRM builds (though not if they get close)

Thanks Bishop.

EDIT: asked a question (about ERL in CT), realised the answer, removed the question ;)

FS9-A

I did not think the heat of 8 mediums would be workable, but it turns out the Firestarter is so mobile you can throw a few staggered Alpha strikes and run to cool off. Getting behind someone and laying out 40-80 damage really ruins their day.

My FS9-K apparently has the best stats of all my Firestarters currently.
