Issue: It takes far too long to juggle modules between 'mechs. To do so, a player must locate a module previously equipped on another 'mech, de-equip the module, save, re-equip the module on the desired 'mech, and then save again. And a player may do this 1-4 times every time they use a different 'mech. Many people (myself included) forego the foregoing and just leave their modules equipped on certain 'mechs. Those who do invest the time to locate, de-equip, and re-equip modules have to deal with the delay in the mechbay, as well as potentially making their group wait for them to ready-up.

Proposed solution: All non-consumable modules are automatically de-equipped from a 'mech at the end of every match.

Why: Players will save time between drops and increase their use of modules. Instead of having to locate, de-equip, and re-equip modules each time a player changes a 'mech, players will only have to equip and save. If this mechanic is introduced, I believe most players will incorporate it into their pre-drop routine instead of giving up on juggling modules. Even players who play the same 'mech repeatedly will, I think, appreciate this new mechanic, as it gives players the opportunity to make a deliberate decision about what module(s) to use for each match.

Post Script: IIRC, UI 2.0 deals with modules differently, and I am looking forward to UI 2.0 in all its glory. However, in the meantime, introducing the proposed mechanic as a stop-gap measure will greatly decrease the hurdles players now must overcome if they want to juggle modules between 'mechs.

about your proposal, if you make it so it's an option to select (so you only do it on the mech/module you want) then I support your proposal 100%.

That would indeed be an improvement. However, my suggestion is intended to be a minimalist, temporary fix until they roll out UI 2.0. At that time, I hope that they will allow us to simply click a radial button to "equip" a module on a 'mech before dropping without worrying about having to manage modules as inventory items.
