And why exactly should we care for this person? Especially since you won't tell us who he is? He turned 80, well congratulations to him but his birthday really has nothing to do with MechWarrior or this game in general. What's worse is that you take personal affront to us not knowing who this person is and proceed to call us "kids" and order us to edit our posts for no other reason then you seem to be a cranky old person who needs positive affirmation from other people.

Everything would have been fine if you had taken the five seconds or so it would have took to find the appropriate forum and given a short explanation as to who this person is, and why we should wish them a happy birthday. Who are we? WHO ARE YOU?!

If all that know Cmeg knew he was hitting 80 today you wouldnt believe the posts we would see.
I assumed the name of the thread would be enough if you knew him or not,
and my post in it was the best way to tell those that dont him, who he is.
A gentle man that (if you ask any who have met him) is simply the nicest gamer you will ever meet in servers, on comms, on the battlefield.
I have been around a long time and know I wont meet another like him.
And I am sorry for posting in general game forums but didnt want to bury it in off topic, so those that do know him here would have a better chance of catching it.
And seriously how many mechwarriors are here at 80? lol
If I did not know Cmeg and saw this thread, I would think, (damn...rock on dude)
post a happy birthday and move on or post nothing at all.

mw highlander, I was reading you comment that you doubted Cmeg being 80 years old, if it is of any value, I am his younger brother "{CYT}Ragman" who ABP can verify and I know for a fact he is 80 years old, being we both had the same mother, and I am 75 years old. I have only been playing this game for one and a half years. He has been playing it for 9 or 10 years at least. You are welcome to come on mechwarrior4 MP3.1 mercenaries and look for his server CYT mw4 mercenaries. It is an open server. He would welcome you. I think it may be improper to list a persons name without his knowledge, I am not sure how you would feel if someone listed your real name in a forum without your knowledge. Just food for thought.
