I've been wondering why the Hiring Hall in Merc Corp Outreach is so anemic and virtually dead.

New players need to do 25 battles before they can post in there.

Please open up a hiring hall in this forum or allow Forum Recruits to post in the Merc Corp Outreach forum.

An interesting idea. I suggest directing it directly to Niko Snow, or filing a support ticket.

If trolls ruin it then they can just as easily take it away, but as long as people report negative behavior I think the Outreach would be an ok place for recruits.

Well either a redirection link with permissions in that thread or if trolling is a concern create a Recruiting Hall here to distinguish new players and the not so new.

I strongly second this! In the meantime this does give me the idea to post a recruitment megathread placeholder, which seems like the only compromise at the moment.

How about players make sure they actually want to stay before advertising for their own unit or trying to join an existing one?

I vote HELL NO to recruits in the Outreach area.
