Your team spawns there and the cap point spawns there as well. Neither team knows where the other starts (no big red marker for the cap point until scouts actually scout it out) and they have to react to battlefield conditions.
Potentially, teams could start next to each other (i.e. one at 'theta' one at 'kappa') leading to a match with no time to set up. This would make the "set up in center" tactic less of a go to idea and would make speed a more important element in Assault.
It is my opinion this would lead to greater variety within the Assault game mode and would open up some role warfare as scouting would actually become essential to not being surprised and overwhelmed.
